Transfer Update

Since the opening of the transfer window, more Premier League transfers have been concluded with the likes of Darren Pratley of Swansea moving to Bolton on a free transfer, Ali Al Habsi has today joined Wigan for a fee of around £4million, Gael Clichy has joined Arsenal's Champions League and Premier League rivals Manchester City for around £7 million, Manchester United have completed the signing of Spain U21's international David De Gea from Athletico Madrid for £18 million, Sunderland have signed Jo Dong-Won from Chunman Dragons and Craig Gardner from relegated Birmingham,. With the transfer window only 4 days in, it is guaranteed that there will be more over the next few days. Sunderland have recently completed their 7th, 8th and 9th signing of the summer in 2 days, with the signings of Wes Brown (Manchester Utd), John O'Shea (Manchester Utd) and David Vaughan (Blackpool). Liverpool have signed Charlie Adam from Blackpool, after a 6 month battle for his signature. Rumours are rife around the Premier League, with the likes of Juan Mata and Wesley Sneijder linked with moves, and the likes of Samir Nasri linked with moves to both Manchester clubs and Chelsea.
